Coding4Kindness Recap

Last month, our team met with developers at Salesforce to review and make changes to our Building Dreams Licensing Flow and to review and make updates to the Building Dreams App. Thanks to their team as we were able to make a number of improvements in each of these areas and to plan for future processes that will enable Fight for Life to effectively and proficiently operate and conduct business matters.

Here’s a recap of what improvements we’ve made thanks to the team Salesforce:

1. Progress was made on the Building Dreams Application.

This included installing both the frontend and the backend servers, tested the authorization flows, API interactions and created a new school account and even found a security issue that needs to be corrected.

2. Critiquing Building Dreams Licensing Flow:

Both the short-term and long-term was looked at for the Building Dreams Licensing Flow. Short term we looked using templates for email generation and triggering them based on an event. Long-term we looked at how to allow the app to be apart of the licensing flow both for an App administrator and a school administrator.

Again we want to thank the Salesforce team for their help!
