What is the Indy Winter Farmers Market?
It is a place providing growers and producers a year-round outlet for their products and residents the opportunity to eat local year round.

Market History:
The Growing Places Indy Winter Farmers Market (IWFM) was founded in 2008 by Growing Places Indy Founder and Board Member, Laura Henderson. IWFM was created to provide an urban venue to directly connect farmers and producers to the community and foster personal relationships in the exchange of fruit, vegetables, meat, dairy, baked goods, herbs and natural products while promoting access to local, healthy food for all.

The IWFM has three primary goals:

  1. To provide a venue for Indiana’s sustainably minded family farms and small batch food producers to connect to the community and grow their businesses.
  2. To create a fun and interactive environment to improve our community’s access to local, fresh and nutritious food.
  3. To provide an opportunity for individuals and local businesses in Indianapolis to invest in community wellness.

The Indy Winter Farmers Market runs Saturdays from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm from November 10, 2018, through April 27, 2019.

We are located in the Circle City Industrial Complex at 1125 E Brookside Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46202 (NW corner of East 10th and Brookside Ave).
