Marlin Jackson Featured on Colts Roundup

Fight For Life Foundation is the outcome of a dream that Marlin Jackson had. After growing up in what he calls very “humble beginnings,” our Founder and President had to fight for every goal he wanted to achieve. Thanks to the family members who took him in and coaches who guided him he was able to fulfull his dream of playing in the NFL. Now, Marlin uses the principles that he learned and motivation from his childhood to give back to underserved youth.

Last week, Jackson shared his story with members of the Indianapolis Community at the Colts “Blue Breakfast” to benefit Coburn Place, a safe haven for survivors of domestic violence.

“Being exposed to different ways of thinking, different ways of being, different people changed my perspective and my view of life. And in that happening, I chose to take a different route, a different path than those around me. And now through my organization, Fight for Life Foundation, we do the same thing. We help underserved youth fight for a better life through social emotional learning,” Jackson shared.

We’re so thankful to have a leader that is dedicated to shaping the lives of others! To read the full article from Colts Roundup CLICK HERE.
