✨ Research shows that students who feel a sense of belonging at school are more likely to attend regularly, stay engaged in learning, and succeed academically. 📚 A recent report from the Institute of Education Sciences (2025) supports what we’ve seen through our work at Fight for Life Foundation. 🌟

Through our Building Dreams program, we collect student-focused data based on ten core values and research indicators, including the presence of positive relationships. This data, in partnership with Butler University, is helping us understand absenteeism and its connection to student success. And guess what? The conclusions are aligned with the research: students need to feel seen, heard, and supported to thrive.
