Building Dreams
The Building Dreams Engagement Report provides insight into the activities and outputs of student and educator engagement with Building Dreams resources over the month of April. Engagement with Building Dreams empowers students and educators to build healthy relationships through active reinforcement of positive wellness and relationships skills that strengthen school attendance and peer relationships.
- Check in/out is a tool that provides a digital space for students to pause and process their attitude as they enter the day, evaluate plans for the day, and gauge emotion and stress levels as they begin their day.
- First Downs are positive behaviors of students that are observed by educators, and positively reinforced through the “action” of an educator awarding a student with a “First Down” in Building Dreams! Students earn points for positive behavior related to the “First Downs” action. Students can also track points on their scoreboard and redeem points at the school store.
- Emotional Exploration is a digital exercise that helps students process emotions related to an event, incident, place, or thing. The function guides students through questions that help students Identify solutions that can help them cope with the original circumstance.
- SEL Video Library provides digital content for students to access. The library of resources contains tools that are utilized to proactively set classroom and school expectations that are reinforced through positive interventions for students.
- Extra Points Reinforce positive peer relationships by providing a digital tool to enable students to acknowledge/reward peers when they display positive character traits.
- Support Responses are identified student well-being or behavioral concerns/needs that were identified and supported by support staff or admin utilizing Fight for Life software solutions.
