Educator Zen Room, Fight for Life Impact
This video captures the transformation of an everyday school staff space at GVPLA into an environment intentionally designed to care for the people who care for students every day. Through refreshed surroundings, new amenities, coffee and other thoughtful touches, the space communicates a simple but meaningful message to educators: you matter, too. Inspired by Dr. Tihesha Henderson of Sankofa School of Success, the Fight for Life Foundation’s Be A Blessing Educator Zen Room initiative builds upon this concept by creating dedicated spaces where educators can briefly step away, decompress, recharge, and return to their students feeling supported and valued.
