Building Dreams, Fight for Life Impact
This week, the GVPLA community came together for their Ice Cream Social Back-to-School event, and the excitement for the year ahead was contagious. Families filled the halls, greeting teachers, reconnecting with friends, and learning more about the Building Dreams platform while enjoying a sweet treat. While meeting their child’s teacher in the classroom, parents received their student QR codes. At our Building Dreams table, we were able to help onboard families, share more about the platform, and give them a glimpse of what they can access: from positive behavior highlights like First Downs and Extra Points to Class News, the Social Feed, and direct communication with teachers.
Students lit up when they saw the Building Dreams table, proudly sharing how they earn Building Dreams Points and their plans to shop at the school store. The school store is a well-loved part of GVPLA’s culture. Touring the store was a highlight for our team, as we were truly impressed by its organization and how it reinforces the positive culture GVPLA is building. It was an evening full of connection, preparation, and joy. It was the perfect way to kick off another year of Building Dreams together.
