Be A Blessing Toy Drive:

This year, Fight For Life will be a blessing by collecting toys for more than 695 underserved students at Arlington Woods IPS 99 and Charles W.Fairbanks IPS 105. All of these students are currently participating in our Building Dreams program. We will collect toys and accept monetary donations to go towards craft activities and toys. The collection will start on November 29th and run through December 13th.

Indianapolis Field Trip:

Marlin Jackson will host a group of sixth graders from his hometown elementary school Musser Elementary in Sharon, Pennsylvania for an annual weekend field trip to Indianapolis. Students from Musser Elementary have made the trip for the past eight years as part of our Be A Blessing program. These students come from an underserved environment that is filled with drugs, neglect, and a generational curse of being born into unfair circumstances. Through experiences that most take for granted, we create life changing moments that inspire kids to reach beyond the confines of their envrionment. Students will experience a Inidana Pacers basketball game, college visit to Marian University, pampering at Paul Mitchell Salon, recreational activities at Incrediplex, a visit to the Chldren’s Museum of Indianapolis, receive Christmas gifts from Walmart, and have a hotel stay at the Drury Plaza Hotel. This trip is simply a blessing!

Christmas Parties:

Fight For Life Foundation will host Christmas parties at Arlington Woods IPS 99 and Charles W. Fairbanks IPS 105, in 2019 as part of an annual event that serves the children who take part in the Building Dreams program. Toys from our annual toy drive will go to these students who may not receive anything for Christmas. We’ll also enjoy a pizza party, games, and activities from Jack and Jill Magazine. Marlin Jackson will also be present to speak to the kids about his own personal story, from growing up in hard circumstances to where he is now, and will learn from him how to persevere against their odds.
