Fight For Life Presents “Be A Blessing” 2016 Campaign

Be A Blessing is an event based program to support families with students who have participated in one of Fight For Life’s other programs. Be a Blessing is intended to help families in their time of need and expose students to unique opportunities in life.
This year, Fight For Life will be collecting toys for 710 under-served K-5 scholars at the Earl and Veronica Phalen Leadership Academies of Indianapolis, IN.
Collection Dates: Monday, November 21st-Monday, December 12th. Click here for a list of toy drive drop off locations.
Possible toys include: Legos, Multi-Cultural dolls, arts and crafts kits, board games, nerf items (footballs/basketballs), colognes/perfumes/nail polish, personal hygiene products (dove/axe body wash gift packs).
Any toy is appreciated for boys and girls ages 5-12!
On December 14th and 15th, Fight for Life Foundation will host the Phalen Leadership Academy Be A Blessing Christmas Party! This celebration will serve over 725 K-5 scholars at PLA 1 and PLA 2. Students will receive toys, read Christmas stories, and participate in Christmas specific arts and crafts.
Fight for Life Foundation will host 40 sixth graders from Musser Elementary of Sharon, PA. This trip will take place Dec.9th-11th. Former Indianapolis Colt Marlin Jackson attended Musser Elementary as a child. Students from this school have made the trip to Indianapolis for the past 7 years. These students participate in Fight for Life’s Social Emotional Learning program– Building Dreams!
We will need 24 volunteers for each PLA Christmas Party. Volunteers are needed to help set-up and organize toys, read stories, and assist with arts and crafts during classroom time.
