Schools and organizations that use Building Dreams are more than just clients or “users.” We created Be A Blessing to give back to our partners who are fighting alongside us, to help ensure students have quality in life. This program encourages and reinforces positivity, hope and belief for students, educators and parents. Be A Blessing is offered to select students, classrooms, schools and families that are enrolled and actively participating in the Building Dreams program. Based on capacity.
Celebrating Student Growth & Effort
Through Be A Blessing, we intentionally reinforce positivity. This comes in the form of monthly field trips, holiday celebrations and other opportunities. We’re also able to support schools and families through our collaboration with partner schools, which includes things like coordinating a charter bus (so schools can have transportation), providing rental assistance and more.

Monthly School Field Trips
We celebrate our students with monthly field trips designed to recognize their positive growth and achievements. Our team handles all logistics– transportation, meals, and communication– allowing educators to focus on what matters most.
Family Support Resources
Recognizing that strong families are key to student success, we provide essential support like payments and transportation assistance. We understand these challenges are systemic, and we’re here to help families and schools navigate them together.
Gift Distributions
Each holiday season, we surprise students with 1-2 gifts of their choosing to spread joy and combat feelings of comparison. Partnering with local organizations, we ensure every student feels valued during this special time.
Holiday Celebrations
Our holiday celebrations bring joy to the last days of school before winter break, featuring a DJ, arts and crafts, and story time. We provide pizza for all, creating a festive atmosphere where every student and staff member feels celebrated prior to a much-needed break.
