Carmen Davenport is a seasoned professional with over three decades of exemplary service within a non- profit healthcare organization. Alongside her notable contributions to Practice Management (PM) and EHR software implementations, Carmen has been instrumental in positively impacting the organization’s bottom line while dedicating herself to nurturing the financial health of the underserved population in the neighborhoods she grew up in.

Beyond her corporate role, Carmen shines as an author and visionary behind Black Dolla Indy, a social platform of over 58K members, designed to meet the immediate needs of the consumer and empower Black entrepreneurs. Carmen has earned prestigious awards such as the 2022 Kimet 360 Black Excellence Award, the 2023 S.E.A Leaders Service Impact Award, the 2024 WTLC Melanin Magic Trailblazer Award, 2024 InnoPower Black Rising Star Award, & has been featured in LIMStuidos Boss Lady Magazine.

Through her program ‘Prep & Access’, Carmen provides foundational training and partners with local programs deeply rooted in the black entrepreneurial ecosystem to further propel their business. Recently, Carmen launched a black business directory aimed at amplifying the visibility of those many neglect to celebrate.

Her motto “Visibility Is Life” is the driving force behind her desire to create a long overdue virtual modern-day Black Wallstreet.
