Veronica Watkins is a passionate community leader with more than 25 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, human services, education, and human resources. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Sista’s of Royalty Inc., where she empowers women and girls through mentorship, leadership development, and community engagement.

Veronica also serves as the Director of Community Relations at Indiana Agriculture & Technology School, building strategic partnerships that strengthen student and family success, and as the Human Resources Benefits Manager at the University of Southern Indiana, where she supports employee well-being through comprehensive benefits administration.

Veronica Watkins is a native of Jackson, Mississippi. As the daughter of a pastor, her family’s ministry led them from Mississippi to Texas before ultimately settling in Indiana during her sophomore year of high school. After graduating, Veronica attended Anderson University, where she discovered her passion for serving others and met her husband of more than twenty years, Samuel. Together they are the proud parents of three children: Marquise, Da’Marcus, and Monica. She has dedicated her career to developing people, building meaningful relationships, and creating opportunities that strengthen individuals and communities. Her authentic leadership and commitment to service continue to make a lasting impact throughout Indiana.
