VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
There are a variety of ways to contribute, from helping run day to day administration of our programs to working with kids directly. The dates below list our current volunteer needs for each of our programs.
BE A BLESSING PROGRAM
Holiday Volunteer Opportunities:
- 30 volunteers are needed on December 11th for toy sorting, packaging, loading and distribution.
- 30 volunteers are needed on December 13th for Christmas Party management.
- 30 volunteers are needed on December 14th for Christmas Party management.
Field Trip Volunteer Opportunities:
Volunteers are needed to chaperone monthly field trips.
VOLUNTEER OVERVIEW:
- Pick up toys from collection sites
- Sort toys at storage location
- Distribute/Transport toys to schools
- Assist with tasks associated with managing Christmas Parties
- Chaperone field trips
BUILDING DREAMS VOLUNTEER OVERVIEW
CORPORATE & COMMUNITY PARTNERS PROGRAM:
The Building Dreams Corporate and Community Partnership program connects the value taught in Building Dreams to business and service industries.
Business and Community Leaders along with their staffs, will have the opportunity to relate each Building Dreams topic to their work/service experience.
This connection will help students better understand how each Building Dreams topic can be applied in different areas of life.
Through this component, we strive to create tangible learning moments for students, and community service opportunities for business.
