The primary Building Dreams capacity goals were to increase the number of sites and students served through the program. We accomplished both goals, increasing the number of sites served from 4 to 13, while also increasing the number of students served from 1,050 to 4,428. The following program impact objectives were met: identifying student’s emotional distress, identifying conduct problems, identifying the risk of poor academic performance, improving teacher classroom management skills, increasing parental engagement, improving school culture, and connecting students and families to the care and services they need.
Through engagement in the school environment students benefited from the implementation of our Multi-Tiered System of Supports. Teachers and admins were able to set and manage behavioral expectations for their building through Positive Behavior Reinforcement, Behavioral Interventions, Social Emotional Wellness, and SEL Skills Reinforcement.
