Be A Blessing 2023

Building Dreams is augmented with the Be a Blessing program that provides incentives and rewards for active participation for students, classrooms, schools, and families enrolled in Building Dreams.

Encouragement is the spark that ignites hope and belief for students, educators, and parents in the Be a Blessing program. Students, schools, and parents earn incentives such as movie or sports tickets or local museum passes and are encouraged to grow through positive virtues, values, and bigger dreams.

The incentives and experiences provided afford them opportunities they might otherwise not have access to or the resources to enjoy. Other program offerings include the Be a Blessing Christmas party, monthly school field trips, and special appreciation events for teachers held throughout the year.

It’s time to Be A Blessing this holiday season! Our favorite time of the year has finally arrived and we now have the opportunity to take action and meet needs, while bringing to joy those who are in need. This year toys will be collected distributed to 1,427 students at Frederick Douglass 19, Sankofa School of Success, George and Veronica Phalen Leadership Academy, and Phalen Leadership Academy 93. The Be A Blessing toy drive, charismas parties, and gift distributions provide great opportunities to get involved with Fight for Life and the people we serve.
