"MJ" Building Dreams Virtual Teacher Assistant

Our most recent innovation has come to be due to our desire to make it easier for teachers to document data points in our system. It has been extremely important for the Fight for Life team to make it easier for teachers to document data in real-time, as it can be difficult for teachers to recognize a behavior, stop teaching, and document the behavioral data point on their phone, desktop, or smart board. In order to solve this problem, we began developing the “MJ” Building Dreams virtual teacher assistant. This new algorithm utilizes Natural Language Processing to create ease for teachers when documenting data points in the Building Dreams system. We are currently in the research phase of development for the cloud-based voice service.

Every innovation has a student-centered approach. The goal is always continuous improvement toward how we can best serve students directly and indirectly.
