PLA 48 Implementation Plan

Our Building Dreams technology is expansive and packed full of features that educators can use to help manage their daily responsibilities, as well as understand the needs of their students while teaching critical social-emotional learning competencies.

Each school that licenses Building Dreams has the autonomy to customize the way it’s implemented to best fit the needs of the culture and climate.

Here are some examples of how our school leaders are implementing it in their buildings. (All quotes have been adapted into as-told-to format to include correct brand terminology. They are not direct.)

We are going to add our social worker as a Building Dreams Site Admin as she will be managing our Endzone Store. This is a store that students can cash in Building Dreams points to earn prizes.

Our K-3 classes will be using Building Dreams Bucks as incentives. Scholars will earn the Bucks for showing the named Core Value on the Buck. 4th through 6th will use the PBIS tools in Building Dreams. Kids will then be able to purchase items at the Building Dreams store once a month. Teachers will be able to give and take away Bucks in our K-3 class similarly to how teachers utilize the technology to give First Downs and Sacks in our older grades.

We will be doing the morning Check-in Assessment school-wide. Our older grades will also be using the Social Emotional Learning teaching series.
