United Way of Central Indiana Awards Fight for Life Inc. $90,000

Fight for Life Foundation Inc,

United Way of Central Indiana has awarded $90,000 from the Social Innovation Fund to support Fight for Life Foundation Inc (FFLF). The grant contract will be twelve months long with a term of January 1, 2023 – December 31, 2023. Fight for Life is extremely grateful for the continued support of UWCI and will utilize funds to continue developing our innovative Building Dreams platform.

Social Innovation Funds will be distributed quarterly in conjunction with other grant proceeds beginning in mid-January. UWCI’s Senior Director of Social Innovation has been assigned to Fight for Life’s grant portfolio and will engage with FFLF through required monthly cohort meetings and individual check- ins.

Additionally, UWCI will hold a virtual Social Innovation Fund Report Training in January 2023. This is a required training for all Social Innovation Fund grantees. United Way of Central Indiana will announce a full list of all Social Innovation Fund recipients on Wednesday, November 16th. Through partnerships with funders like the United Way of Central Indiana, Fight for Life Foundation Inc is able to continue executing our mission of helping underserved youth develop the social emotional qualities needed for success.
